Making Memories
2026 Welcoming Wreath, Making Memories #19
2026 Hallmark Making Memories Ornament
QXR8052
Nineteenth in the "Making Memories" Hallmark Keepsake series.
Started in 2008, this sweet, sentimental family-oriented series features a Snowman Dad making warm Winter memories with his little snow-child. In this scene, Dad is wearing a blue and white scarf, red snow boots, and a Santa hat, while a white, short-haired dog with blue ears and spots matching his scarf, barks excitedly at his side. His 'lil one is wearing a purple beanie and green snowboots, posing for the perfect selfie, while Snow-Dad holds-up a green wreath with a red bow, framing the smiling face for a portrait picture...but who's got the camera?! The ornament can stand on it's own, or be hung from the top.
Tammy Haddix was born and raised in Missouri, and her dream of working at Hallmark came true when she was recruited from the Kansas City Art Institute. Now retired, after working for Hallmark for over 30 years, she crafted thousands of ornaments over the last 28 years in their Keepsake studio. What she loved most about her career at Hallmark: the opportunity to work with and learn from talented artists, who became lifelong friends. "A Keepsake Ornament is something so special that you keep it forever. Thinking about people bringing my ornaments out every year...I can't even describe how it feels. It's very touching and emotional for me."
