This 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features the sacred and feared sandworm, "Shai-Hulud," from the Sci-Fi/Fantasy franchise, "Dune." Revered by the Fremen, indigenous people from the harsh desert planet of Arrakis, they are referred to as "The Old Man of the Desert," and are worshipped as physical manifestations of God. These "makers of spice" grow up to 450 meters long and are integral to the planet's ecosystem, in addition to their teeth being used as "crysknives," due to their high-durability. Only another worm or water is lethal to them, so keep this 'lil guy away from the kitchen sink--he's just popping out to see if you've got anything good to eat! The ornament can stand on it's own, or be hung from the top, and is dated on the underside of the base.
