This 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features "Max," the Grinch's dog, from the 1966 animated TV movie, "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" He was recruited by the grumpy hermit to help with the diabolical plan of stealing Christmas and joy from the Whoville residents, and was made to wear reindeer antlers and pull the Grinch's sleigh. Loyal and loving, Max did whatever he was told and was the Grinch's sole companion, until his heart grew and he realized they both had a community that welcomed them, in Whoville. Fun Fact: Max is actually played by six rescue dogs of mixed breeds in the "live action film released in 2000. The two primary dogs used were both from shelters, named Kelly and Chip!
