Hallmark Keepsake Ornament

2001 The Potions Master, Harry Potter

2001 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament

QXI8652

In the first Potions lesson, the dreaded Professor Snape orders Harry Potter to prepare a vile mixture said to cure boils. It includes dried nettles, crushed snake fangs, horned slugs, and porcupine quills. Snape watches Harry carefully, hoping in vain to catch him in a mistake. When another student forgets to add the quills after taking his potion off the fire, the cauldron melts into a twisted blob. Harry is blamed for the accident and wonders more than ever, "Why does Snape hate me so much?"

Special lighting effect: Attach the clip, which is located inside the base of this ornament, directly to a lamp socket on a miniature light string.

Professor Snape looks on as Harry Potter creates his potion. Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger look on in the background.
