Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
2001 1961 Barbie Hatbox Case
2001 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
QX6922
Whether its fashion-forward owner was going to a friend's house for a sleepover - or to stage a BARBIE doll fashion show, the vinyl hatbox was an ideal traveling companion. There were no compartments inside, so it could serve as the young lady's suitcase or hold scores of Barbie outfits. This Keepsake Ornament is a replica of the 1961 Barbie hatbox. Its lid opens and closes, and there's even a carrying handle. Illustrated on the case are three ponytail BARBIE dolls modeling popular fashions of the day (from left to right): Evening Splendour, Apple Print Sheath, and Suburban Shopper.
