Hallmark Keepsake Ornament

1986 Christmas in the Country, Mary Emmerling American Country

1986 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament

QX2752

This 1986 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Set is part of the Mary Emmerling American Country Collection and consists of four glass ball ornaments, with silver metal caps, and a speckled look, like a camping mug. Two are white with blue specks, and two are navy with white specks, all inspired by 19th-century Americana designs. The white ones have circular navy backgrounds, on one side, with the copyright in red. One features a white quilt patch star with red heart in the center and the other shows a white dove with a branch with leaves and red berries in it's beak. The blue ones have white backgrounds with blue copyright, one picturing a house with two red chimneys and a heart on the door, and the other imprinted with a blue heart with red accents, in a Pennsylvania Dutch style. They're encased in a plastic molded tray and packaged in the original box with clear plastic window in front.

Mary Emmerling is the Creative Director of her own magazine, Country Home, and worked as the decorating editor for both House Beautiful and Mademoiselle magazines. A bestselling author who's had a successful career in country decorating/design for over five decades, she also owned a NYC home furnishing store popular with celebrities and hosted HGTV’s Country at Home show.
