This 1985 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament is a frosted green glass ball, with metal cap and clear plastic sleeve imprinted with a green, red, and gold train, dated on the car "CHRISTMAS 1985," and captioned on the caboose: "A Grandson makes holiday joys shine even brighter!" The ornament is packaged in the original "window" box, viewable from sides, so you can see the entire bulb.
Disclaimer: As with many older glass ball ornaments, it may have developed "age spots," which is normal with older ornaments.
LaDene Votruba (1938-2023) was a Senior Artist for Hallmark from 1973-2006, when she retired from the Keepsake division, after creating notable designs such as, "The Greatest Story," "Sweet Holiday Harmony," and "The Dancing Nutcracker."
