This 1984 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament features a tiny brown house mouse, donning a mini Santa suit, complete with fake, furry white beard and a blue pillow stuffed into his jacket to make his belly more "jolly." He may have a bit too much padding, though, as it doesn't seem to fit inside his red coat, as the green buttons are straining and about to pop! The ornament can stand on it's own, or be hung from the top, and the copyright is on the underside of the base.
Bob Siedler started with Hallmark in 1979, and joined the Keepsake Ornament division in 1984, retiring in 2003, after contributing 344 documented designs, ranging from holiday mice to NFL teams, Disney, Peanuts, Crayola, Frosty Friends, and club pieces with Magic effects.
