This 1983 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament features a brunette angel, wearing a lavender shift, sliding happily down the light stream from a metallic-gold star, onto a frosted acrylic cloud. Their gold halo is metal and the rainbow of light is made of translucent acrylic with red, yellow and blue stripes. A green holly leaf cluster with red berries adorns the corner of the cloud and small, yellow stars are on each side. The ornament can sit on it's own, or be hung from the top. It's encased in a white plastic tray, molded for protection, and is packaged in the original full color box.
Donna Lee, the artist, worked for Hallmark from 1958 until she retired in the early 1990's, and is best known for creating the beloved Keepsake series, "Nostalgic Houses and Shops," and the unofficial, "Donna Lee Angels."
