Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
1983 Love
1983 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
QX3057
This 1983 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament is part of the Holiday Highlights Collection and features a clear acrylic heart with beveled edge on the front and sunken relief of a man and woman ice-skating, on the back. Their skate blades spell the word "Love," in cursive, and it's dated in metallic-silver with "CHRISTMAS 1983," at the bottom. The ornament is encased in a clear plastic shell, molded for protection, and is packaged in the original box, with full "window" on the front and a die-cut heart in the back.
Fun Fact: Intaglio sunken relief art was widely used for signet rings and wax seals, as the sunken carving makes a raised, positive impression.
