This 1983 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features a sweet Betsey Clark character asleep on a yellow crescent moon. The brown-haired toddler is wearing a pale blue footie-pajama with white polka dots and a pink patch on the knee. The banana shaped and colored moon is velvet flocked in pale yellow and is stitched around the edge. The ornament is packaged in the original full color box.
Ed Seale is from Ontario, Canada, and worked for Hallmark from 1968-1999. He's best known for being one of the founding artists in the Frosty Friends series, the longest-running Hallmark Keepsake series. "The warmth of fun and friendship in an icy, cold place. We lived on a farm in Canada — and the pond was the biggest source of entertainment."
