This 1982 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament features Santa on an old penny-farthing bicycle, or "high wheeler," an early type of bicycle known for it's large front wheel. His magic bag of toys is behind him, overflowing with presents, a teddy bear with a red bowtie, a white dollhouse, and a pony. The small woven basket in front holds a special green present with a blue bow, and we know that one is just for you! The ornament is packaged in the original box, with clear plastic lid and has a full color image of a snow-covered street, lined with bare trees and a farmhouse, glowing from the warm light within. The backdrop and molded tray beneath make it appear as if Santa is riding down the street, delivering Christmas presents under the cover of night. There's no headlight on the bicycle, and Rudolph isn't along for the ride, so he'll have to depend on the three bells tied to the bag to warn people that's he's coming down the road!
