This 1981 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament is a frosted, white glass ball with a silver metal cap and clear, plastic sleeve, featuring the sentiment: "GRANDPARENTS give the gift of love at Christmas and all year 'round." Tails from the large red bow on top trail down each side of the caption, separating the text from the evergreen branches decorated with red, green, and gold ornament balls, holly leaves, and red berries. The dated panel is bordered with metallic-gold, pink, green, and red, with "1981" at the top center, inside a red oval. Below we see a glass apothecary jar with candy canes inside and a red bow around the rim, next to red and green ball ornaments leaning on evergreen branches. A basket with braided handle and checkerboard weave sits in the center, filled with apples, oranges, and a pear. It has a red bow and holly leaves on top and sits next to a tall green Christmas present with a red bow. Gold and green ball ornaments sit at it's base, with a large red poinsettia bloom. The ornament is packaged in the original "window" box, viewable from all sides, so you can see the entire bulb.
