1974 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
QX1031
In 1973, Hallmark introduced its first-ever collection of Christmas ornaments, which included twelve ornaments crafted from yarn. The 1973 yarn angel featured white felt wings and a yarn skirt. In this version, the 1974 Angel ornament, Hallmark created an angel Keepsake ornament distinguished by its gold wings and a felt skirt, now considered a rare find.
As with all yarn ornaments from this era, slight variations in design or color are considered normal and stem from the production methods used at the manufacturing facilities. These differences enhance the uniqueness of each piece.
It's important to note that yarn ornaments were originally sold in clear plastic bags, not boxes. Unless otherwise specified, there is no guarantee that yarn ornaments will come in their original, sealed plastic bags.
This Hallmark Christmas Tree Ornament was originally produced and released by Hallmark in 1974.
