This 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament shows a book cover of the 1993 R.L. Stine children's horror story, "Haunted Mask," the eleventh novel in the Goosebumps series. Carly Beth wants a really scary mask for Halloween but the one she buys is alive and once she tries it on, she discovers that it can't be removed, and worse yet, it's making her behave in a "monstrous" way, causing her to confront her own fears, identity issues, and bad behavior, from before she ever wore it. Based on a real-life incident with this son, the book was a popular Goosebumps episode on TV and was adapted for a graphic novel version of the scary story. The ornament features a blue book cover with the Goosebumps logo and the tagline "if looks could kill." A girl in a pink tee and blue bib overalls is holding a green and red rubber mask up to her face. Her bare forearms and the vampire/goblin-looking mask are sticking out from the surface in high-relief style, to add dimension to the design.
