This 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features Michael Myers, the villain in the slasher movie series, " Halloween," which began in 1978 . Also known as, "The Shape," he murdered his oldest sister, Judith, on Halloween night, when he was only six years old, and was then committed to a mental hospital, which he escapes from fifteen years later. Returning to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, to continue his killing spree, he is now speechless and emotionless, a silent and mysterious killer who wears blue coveralls and a white, hockey-type face mask, stalking victims on Halloween night. Throughout the series, he seems almost unstoppable, surviving injuries that would stop a normal person. Michael Myers represents pure danger and is one of the most famous characters in horror movies. John Carpenter, the creator, described him as "almost a supernatural force-a force of nature. An evil force that's loose." Fun Fact: The original mask used for this character was a modified Captain Kirk mask, in the image of William Shatner, from the Star Trek franchise.
