1980 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament

This Hallmark Christmas Ornament is part of the Tree-Trimmer Collection and features a glass ball with metal cap and transparent, plastic sleeve printed with a brown bunny, fawn, squirrel, and birds, surrounded by evergreen branches, red poinsettias, holly, mistletoe, and pinecones. The red cardinal, blue jay, chickadee, sparrow, robin, wren, and woodpecker are perched on greenery, while the other animals have a border of vines around them. The caption in the middle reads, "Christmas 1980," in grey cursive text. The other side has the sentiment: "Love and joy and comfort and cheer are gifts a Grandmother gives all year," encircled by a garland border of the same greenery, with red poinsettias in each corner. A bunny is interacting with a robin on the left side and a chickadee and wren inhabit the top corners. The copyright printed in between the panels on the sleeve is also dated. The ornament is packaged in the original "window" box, viewable from all sides, so you can see the entire bulb. NOTE: Hallmark previously used this same product code for the 1976 Chickadees, Birds of Winter ornament.
