This 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features the UD-4 "Cheyenne" Dropship from the 1986 movie, "Aliens." Designed for rapid deployment and extraction in combat, this trans-atmospheric transport was used by the U.S. Colonial Marine Corps in the "Aliens universe." Described as the Soviet helicopter/gunship, Mil Mi-24, "on steroids," it has a broad armored body, side-mounted weapon pods, and rotors rising from the top. Two of these ships are deployed from the belly of a warship in orbit, the first one is lost in an evacuation, which forces them to use the other to rescue survivors, remotely piloted by the android, Bishop. Fans of Aliens, pop culture collectors, and anyone who loves a strong-themed holiday tree will have fun with this one! Fun Fact: This ship was the inspiration for the Halo game series' Pelican dropship.
