Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
2026 I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas, Magic
2026 Magic Ornament
QGO2713
features Santa carrying a huge hippo, with a large candy cane, in his patched-up sack. The hippopotamus, which is ten times his size and dreamily resting it's head on it's hands, seems quite happy to let Santa do all the heavy lifting, unaware that he's breathing a little harder than usual! The sack has been torn several times, indicating this may not be the first attempt to transport the happy hippo, but Santa never disappoints! Celebrate the playful holiday song, " I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" with this funny ornament, showing Santa putting in the work in order to deliver the unusual Christmas wish to one lucky child. The silly scene captures the charm of the beloved song that has entertained families for generations by playing part of the 1953 song, performed by Gayla Peevey, when batteries are inserted and you press the button on the side of the sack to activate Magic Sound. Fun Fact: Adult hippopotami don't really have predators, due to their humongous size and reputation for aggression!
