2026 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
QXI1466
This 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features "Frosty the Snowman," from the 1969 American animated Christmas television special, produced by Rankin/Bass Productions. Wearing a grey top hat with a pink flower on the black hatband, he's caught in the middle of coming to life, in a swirl of sparkling snow with icy blue stars full of holiday magic. A corncob pipe hangs from the right corner of his mouth and he holds his broom up like a bandleader. Frosty's body is almost fully formed, and his big red nose draws attention to his comic expression. Fans will remember the joyful moment when Karen placed the magical top hat on his head, causing him to shout his first words: "Happy Birthday!" The hat had belonged to Professor Hinkle, who carelessly threw it away, when he felt inept as a magician, and no longer believed in magic, until he saw Frosty, and then wanted the special silk top hat back! This delightful ornament celebrates the timeless message of friendship and loyalty, reminding families of magical childhood memories and snow days made for fun. Perfect for longtime fans and collectors alike, this festive decoration brings childlike wonder and the spirit of "believing" to your holiday. The ornament is dated on top of his back. Fun Fact: Arthur Rankin Jr. and Jules Bass wanted to give the show and its characters the look of a Christmas card, so they hired the "Mad" magazine artist, Paul Coker Jr., who also designed greeting cards, to do the character and background drawings.
