2025 Let the Wookie Win, Star Wars: A New Hope, Magic - Rare

This 2025 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features Chewbacca, playing a game of Dejarik, or "holochess," with C-3PO, the protocol droid built by Anakin Skywalker, and his little droid buddy, R2-D2, the astromech. In this recreation of the famous scene from the Disney/Lucasfilm movie, "Star Wars: A New Hope," they are shown on the Millennium Falcon, with Chewbacca and C-3PO seated across from each other in the curved, corner banquette, and R2-D2 working controls on the circular board. The game's goal is to eliminate the opposition's players and this scene shows only six of the eight holographic figures: Molator, Houjix, Kintan strider, K'lor'slug, Monnok, Ng'ok, Ghhhk, and the Mantellian Savrip. R2-D2 is about to make a winning move, which will cause Chewbacca to lose his very short temper and C-3PO to advise his BFF to "let the Wookie win", after Han Solo warns them what a Wookie can do! A wooden version of the game is seen in the movie, "Rogue One." The detail on both outside and inside of the ornament is quite intricate and even more impressive, when you insert the Keepsake Power Cord (not included) to activate the Magic Video, Light, and Sound action and press the button in the front to see the continuous light, video, light, and funny dialogue from the film. The ornament can stand on it's own, or be hung from the top, and is dated on the underside.
