Nello Williams has always been fascinated with the space-age design of the '50s and '60s. "From chrome trim to fins on cars and rockets, these artists really thought they were creating what the future was going to look like." he says. "It was a positive outlook, but it was pretty killer design too." Nello tries to incorporate this aesthetic into his own work and has even branded some of his retro Keepsake Ornaments with the "Nellco" label.
Based on the classic 1934 short film, The Dognapper, this D23 exclusive event ornament features Mickey Mouse as a police officer, racing to rescue Minnie Mouse's beloved dog, Fifi. This black and white version of the colorized version features incredible detail-from Mickey's bobby helmet to the turning wheels-it's sure to delight Disney fans of all ages!
