By 1957, the new Fairlane 500 model, with its sleek profile, distinctive gold accents, and stylish tailfins, was the top of the line, and a real top performer in showrooms across America. Engine choices ranged all the way up to a potent 300-horsepower 312 V-8. Convertible options included both the soft-top Sunliner and the spectacular Skyliner, "The World's only Hide-Away Hardtop."
