This 1982 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament features a rascally raccoon checking his stocking to see if he got all the treats out. A bright red male cardinal is perched on his shoulder, leaning forward, as if to ask if their friend left them even a little crumb! The ornament is dated in the copyright on the underside of the log he's standing on. It's packaged in the original box, with clear plastic lid, and green flocked velvet tray, molded for protection.
Donna Lee, the artist, worked for Hallmark from 1958 until she retired in the early 90's, and is best known for creating the beloved Keepsake series, "Nostalgic Houses and Shops," and "Donna Lee Angels."
