1979 The Love-Filled Home

This 1979 Hallmark Christmas Ornament is part of the Tree-Trimmer Collection and features an unbreakable, cream-colored satin ball, with a transparent plastic sleeve, printed with a snow covered village on both sides. The message panel shows a horse-driven red sleigh sledding through the snow in a scene with farmhouses, a woman waving from a bridge, and a man carrying a cut evergreen tree home to decorate. The sentiment reads, "CHRISTMAS... when love fills the heart, when hearts look to HOME." The other side is dated "1979," in brown, on a white banner in the center top of the panel, and shows a covered bridge, two skaters on a frozen pond, a child building a snowman, and chimneys smoking above cozy cottages against a pale blue winter sky. The ornament is also dated on the copyright, printed on the sleeve, in between the two panels. It's packaged in the original "window" box, viewable from all sides, so you can see the entire bulb.
